Itinerary

Day 1: NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (IXB) Airport- Gangtok (123 kilometre/5 hours)

Upon arrival at NJP Rly Stn./ IXB Airport, meet our representative or driver. Our journey begins from NJP Rly Stn./ IXB Airport to Gangtok. On reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure. Have your Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok: Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Mandir-New

In the morning, we will continue our journey for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake, which is only 32 kilometre from Gangtok city, the lake is about 1 kilometre long and 15 meters deep. After that drive for 12 kilometre to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (new). In the afternoon you will be returning back to Gangtok and the rest of the day will be free to enjoy yourself. Stay at Gangtok for the night.

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachung (117 kilometre/5 hours)

In the morning have your breakfast and start your drive from Gangtok to Lachung, en route visit Singhik View point (depending on weather conditions), Naga Water Falls, Bheema & Twin Falls. Dinner and night halt at Lachung.

Day 4: Lachung - Yumthang Excursion (24 kilometre/1 hour) and Lachung to Gangtok (117 kilometre/ 5 hours)

In the morning drive to Yumthang Valley (known as the Valley of Flowers). Afternoon drive from Lachung to Gangtok. Upon arrival check in to the hotel room and rest of the day free at leisure or you can perform shopping by your own. Dinner and night halt at Gangtok.

Lachung- Lachung is a town and a hill station in northeast Sikkim. It is located in the North Sikkim district near the border with Tibet. Lachung is situated at the confluence of the Lachen and Lachung Rivers, both tributaries of the River Teesta.

Day 5: Gangtok: Local Sightseeing and Gangtok to Pelling (115 kilometre/5 hours)

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel room and continue your half day city tour and visit Bonjhakri water Falls, Flower show, Handicraft Centre, Dro-Dul Chorten and Institute of Tibetology, etc. Afternoon drive to Pelling, check in to the hotel. Night halt at Pelling.

Day 6: Pelling: Local Sightseeing Cab and Pelling to Darjeeling (74 kilometre/3 hours)

After breakfast, the next morning, start your journey for local sightseeing in Pelling visit Rabdantse Palace of Ruins, Rabdantse View Point, Helipad Ground and later drive to Darjeeling. Have your dinner and night halt at Darjeeling.

Pelling- Pelling is a small hill town in the district of West Sikkim, India. The region is undergoing a metamorphosis, with the roads being repaired and hotels being set up. 

Day 7: Darjeeling: Local Sightseeing Cab on Rent

On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery as you visit Tiger Hill (sunrise over Mount Khanchendzongna) at 4 am. Permits are subject to availability. In the afternoon, climb the Rope Way, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, the Tea Garden (outer view), Pace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, and the Japanese Temple Ropeway (Cost: Guest Own). Later, walk along the famous mall road and shop in the afternoon. At Darjeeling, we will spend the night.

Darjeeling- Darjeeling is a town in the northernmost region of West Bengal. It is located Eastern Himalayas. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India.

Day 8: Darjeeling to NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (100 km/3 hr)

Next morning after breakfast you will be transferred to your onward journey to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport. You can check the taxi/cab price from Darjeeling to NJP Rly Stn. via Mirik taxi fare on GangotriTravels.
