Itinerary

Day 1: NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (IXB) Airport- Darjeeling (90 km/3 hr)

Upon arrival at NJP Rly Stn./ IXB Airport, meet our representative or driver. Our journey begins from NJP Rly Stn./ IXB Airport to Darjeeling. On reaching Darjeeling, check in to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure. Have your Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2: Darjeeling: Local Sightseeing

Early morning at 4:00 AM check out of the hotel and visit Tiger Hill (sunrise point over Mt. Khangchendzonga). Visit Ghoom Monastery on the way back, subject to permit availability. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, the Tea Garden (outer view), the Pace Pagoda, the Japanese Temple, and the Rope Way (tickets are guest owned). After lunch, you can go shopping along the famous mall road. Darjeeling is the destination for a night's halt.

Darjeeling- Darjeeling is a town in the northernmost region of West Bengal. It is located Eastern Himalayas. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India.

Day 3: Darjeeling- Mirik- Darjeeling

In the morning after breakfast excursion trip to Mirik Lake which is an excellent scenic spot, nestled in forested hills. It is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake/Mirik Lake. On the way back enjoy shopping in the famous Pasupati Market- Nepal Border. Evening back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4: Darjeeling to Gangtok drop (121 km/5 hr) 

After breakfast drive to Gangtok. On arrival check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure or you can enjoy shopping at your own expense. Night halt at Gangtok.

Day 5: Gangtok- City Tour

Early morning, check out from the hotel and visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tak, Hanuman Tak, Enchey Monastery, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Bonjhakri waterfalls, Dro-Dul Chorten and the Institute of Tibetology. After lunch, you can go on shopping at your own cost. Gangtok is the destination for a night's halt.

Gangtok- Gangtok is a city, the capital and the largest populated place of Sikkim. Gangtok is in the eastern Himalayan range. The city's population of 100,000 are from different ethnicities of Sikkimese people such as Indian Gorkhas, Bhutia and Lepchas. Within the higher peaks of the Himalayas and with a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the centre of Sikkim's tourism industry. Gangtok became a major stopover on the trade route between Lhasa in Tibet and cities such as Kolkata.

Day 6: Gangtok: Trip to Tsomgo Lake + Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir

In the morning, we will continue our journey for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake, which is only 32 km from Gangtok city, the lake is about 1 km long and 15 meters deep. After that drive for 12 km to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (new). In the afternoon you will be returning back to Gangtok and the rest of the day will be free to enjoy yourself. Stay at Gangtok for the night.

Day 7: Gangtok- NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (IXB) Airport (125 km/4 hr)
