Itinerary

Day 1: Cochin

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will provide you with a tour briefing. Subsequently, you will be transported to your hotel, where you can check in and unwind for the rest of the day. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Cochin

After having breakfast today, you will embark on a half-day tour of Cochin where you will visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and the renowned Chinese Fishing Nets. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy watching a traditional Kathakali show. You will spend the night at the hotel.

Kochi - Kochi is also known as Cochin which is a major port city on the Malabar Coast of India. Kochi is the most densely populated city in Kerala. It is called the "Queen of the Arabian Sea", Kochi was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India from the 14th century onward and maintained a trade network with Arab merchants from the pre-Islamic era. Day 3: Kochi to Munnar (126 km/ 4 hr)

We welcome you to God’s Own Country! Upon your arrival at the Cochin International Airport, our tour guide in Kochi will greet you after this, we will start our driving and drive towards Munnar or “Nature Lover’s Paradise”. On arrival in Munnar, check in to the hotel in Munnar and unwind for a leisurely day followed by an overnight stay and dinner at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar

Following breakfast, you will travel to Munnar and stop en route to explore tea and spice plantations, Cheeyappara waterfalls, and viewpoints. Upon arrival in Munnar, you will check into your hotel and have the remainder of the day to enjoy at your leisure. You can visit the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Rajamalai (home to the ERAVIKULAM National Park, where you can spot the endangered NILGIRI THAR species), and the Tea museum. Day 5: Munnar

Day 6: Munnar to Thekkady (91 km/ 6 hr)

Wake up in the morning have your healthy breakfast, pack your bags and check out from the hotel in Munnar. Hereafter you will be driven towards the gorgeous Thekkady town. Munnar to Thekkady distance is 91 kilometres which takes 6 hours approximately. In Thekkady, you can perform different activities to enjoy with your group or family. Embrace the enchanting beauty of a rustic tour to one of the tribal hamlets in Thekkady followed by a plantation tour to the national park. After boating you can perform some shopping in the local market, later return back to the hotel, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Thekkady

You can opt to go boating in the morning at Lake Periyar to catch a glimpse of wild animals.

Thekkady - Thekkady is a town near Periyar National Park, an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India. The name Thekkady is derived from the word "thekku" which means teak. Temperatures are lowest in the months of December - January and highest in the months of April - May.

Day 8: Thekkady to Kumarakom / Alleppey (125 km/ 4 hr)

Once you have finished your breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and make your way to Kumarakom (125 km/4 hrs). Kumarakom is a captivating backwater destination comprised of a group of small islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. With its stunning mangrove forests, coconut groves, lush green paddy fields, and picturesque waterways and canals adorned with white lilies, Kumarakom/Alleppey adds to Kerala's reputation as "God's own country". Day 10: Houseboat at Alleppey / Kumarakom

We start our day with breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Alleppey, check into our houseboat, and spend the afternoon on the backwaters. During the cruise, we will also visit canals and villages. During our stay on the houseboat, we will serve dinner, breakfast, dinner tea, and lunch. Authentic Kerala cuisine is served here. A houseboat is where you will spend the night.

Kumarakom - Kumarakom is a popular tourist destination in Kerala, India, located 10 kilometers from Kottayam. It is famous for its backwater tourism. The venue is situated next to the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake in Kerala. A special mention was given to Kumarakom for its backwater tourism by the New York Times in January 2023 when Kerala was named one of the 52 must-see tourist destinations in the world.

Day 11: Alleppey to Kovalam (170 km/ 4 hr)

Leaving the 'Backwater Capital', you will be driven to Kovalam, the 'Beach Capital' of Kerala. Approximately four hours will pass between breakfast and the start of the journey.

Kovalam - In Kovalam, you can enjoy several beach activities after arriving at Kovalam Beach. With beach lovers flocking here to swim, sunbathe, get herbal body massages, enjoy water sports and lots more, this sandy retreat is beautifully surrounded by the waves of the Arabian Sea. After your overnight arrival at a beach resort, you will check in for the evening.

Day 12: Kovalam Sightseeing

Following breakfast, proceed to the Sri Chitra Art Gallery to see paintings from the Mughal, Rajput, and Tanjore schools of art. In addition to these, the gallery has an extensive collection of paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, Svetoslav and Nicholas Roerich. Visitors can enjoy paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali in an Oriental collection. Besides zoos, museums, and Shangumugham beach, there are many other attractions you can visit. Kovalam is the place to stay for one night.

Day 13: Kovalam to Kanyakumari (75 km/ 2 hr)

Get freshened up this morning! Afterwards, you will be taken to Kanyakumari, which is also known as 'Land's End Point'. En route, you can admire the Padmanabhapuram Palace, a world heritage site. It is an architectural marvel in its own right that was commissioned by the Maharaja of Travancore to be built in the 15th century. Your drive to Kanyakumari will conclude with a visit to the pious Sucheendram Temple, a confluence point of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal.

Kanyakumari - When you arrive at Kanyakumari in the afternoon, take a boat ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial to see the spot where Swami Vivekananda meditated. This memorial provides incredible views of the setting sun in the evening, and you can board the vehicles back to Kovalam for your overnight stay.

Day 14: Kovalam to Thiruvananthapuram or Trivandrum (23 km/ 30 min)

Our Kerala tour comes to an end today! The Kovalam beach resort will be checked out and you will be driven to Trivandrum after breakfast. The heartwarming tour will come to an end at Trivandrum Airport after you are dropped off.
