Day 1

Srinagar (Arrival/ Sightseeing)

Morning arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our executive and transfer to the hotel in Srinagar. Freshen up and proceed for sightseeing of the famous Mughal garden, visit Nishat Bagh which was built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. Then visit Shalimar bagh built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jahan. These beautiful gardens are situated on the mountains on the bank of Dal Lake. The distance and total travel time between Srinagar to the mentioned gardens are about 15 kilometres. En route visit a carpet weaving factory and also enjoy a Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake. Night halt at the hotel in Srinagar.

Srinagar - Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and the Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts like the Kashmir shawl (made of pashmina and cashmere wool), and also dry fruits.

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (60 kilometres/ 2 hours)

Day 4

Kargil to Lamayuru to Uleytokpo (145 kilometres/ 3 hours)

In the morning, continue your drive from Kargil to reach Uleytokpo after breakfast, en route visit Lamayuru Gompa, which is the oldest religious centre of Ladakh situated on or near the Indus and is believed to have been the sacred site for the pre-Buddhist religion known as Bon Built in the 10th century. Night halt at Uleytokpo is one of the popular trekking bases also, Uleytokpo camping is considered one of the most beautiful experiences.

Day 5

Uleytokpo to Alchi Monastery to Leh (65 kilometres/ 1 hour)

After breakfast, drive back to Leh en route and visit Alchi Monastery, Basgo Castle and the Hall of Fame. Alchi Monastery or Alchi Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery popularly known as the Monastic Complex of temples in Alchi Village in the Leh district. Alchi monastery is said to be one of the oldest monasteries.

After that visit magnetic hill, where you can observe when a vehicle is parked in neutral gear the vehicle slides uphill due to the magnetic force. Day 6

Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass - Diskit (114 kilometres/ 3 hours)

Morning we will continue our drive to Nubra Valley also called Dumra. It lies in the north of Leh. En-route visit Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at a height of 5359 metres. Then drive for a while to visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest Gompa in Nubra valley famous for its beautiful architecture and intricate frescos and wall paintings. Pass from the river Shyok and arrive at Nubra Valley. Nubra Valley is known for its pristine natural beauty, stunning lakes, apricot orchards and picturesque scene. A person can enjoy camel rides and quad biking experiences, if time permits you can perform these activities at additional costs. Night halt at Nubra Camp.

Diskit - Diskit is a village and headquarters of the Nubra tehsil and the Nubra subdivision in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. The Diskit Monastery is located in this village.

Day 7

Diskit to Leh (114 kilometres/ 3 hours)

Morning after breakfast check out from the Nubra camp and continue your drive to Pangong Lake en route visit Shayok, upon arrival check in at the camp in Pangong. After that indo-china border sightseeing, shooting, dinner and a night halt in Pangong camp.

Day 8

Leh to Pangong (224 kilometres/ 6 hours)

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel in Leh, then continue your drive to Pangong. En route visit Changla Pass. On arrival check in to the hotel and freshen up. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Night halt at Pangong.
